A member of the MasterChef royal family took to Instagram to reveal that her and her partner’s life is about to change.
MasterChef favorite Justine Schofield has revealed that she and soccer star Brent Staker’s partner are pregnant.
The TV cook announced the news on Sunday with an Instagram post showing her baby bump in all its glory.
“We are having a bubba. So excited, so grateful, ”she wrote.
Staker, the former Brisbane Lions defender, also wrote on Instagram: “We have very exciting times ahead … soon everyone will be ready to welcome our new friend.”
Their exciting posts were flooded with comments from famous friends, including former MasterChef judge Matt Preston, Sunrise presenter Sam Mack, and former Miss World Australia Laura Dundovic.
Staker’s AFL playing career spanned 160 games, ended in 2015 and was punched in the face in 2008 by Barry Hall for which the Sydney forward was suspended for seven games.
He moved up to an assistant manager position for Brisbane’s AFLW team and also appeared in Australian Ninja Warrior in 2019.
He left the Lions last year to be closer to Schofield in Sydney.
The couple began dating in 2020 and were first seen in social media photos together in March 2020.
Schofield returned to reality TV in 2019 for an earlier season of Network 10’s “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here”.
A member of MasterChef, Schofield has published two cookbooks, Dinner With Justine and Simple Every Day, as well as featuring her popular daytime cooking program, Everyday Gourmet.
