He said apparel and toys saw the highest growth in exports, with the former seeing 82% year-on-year growth and the latter growing 55%. Followed by jewelry and home, which grew by 47% and 32% respectively.

Kamra added that Amazon provides payments to exporters in 7-14 days compared to 45 days in offline export markets. These sellers will have access to 18 markets that deliver products to 200 countries. The United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Brazil, and Singapore are some of Amazon’s other major export markets.

In the north, Delhi, Jaipur, Noida, Jodhpur and Amritsar have emerged as the main export cities, while in the south, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Trichy and Madurai are the main export cities, he said.
