Signature dishes from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao take centerstage this month at Brasserie on 3.
Conrad Manila’s all-day buffet dining restaurant, Brasserie on 3, is celebrating Filipino food all month of July with “Flavors of the Philippines.”
“We are delighted to celebrate the diverse gourmet tradition and heritage of the Philippines, as we take our patrons on a journey of flavors with signature dishes from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao,” said Conrad Manila’s General Manager Linda Pecoraro.
Moreover, the restaurant is not only featuring prominent, signature dishes of different regions — beef kani, seafood kare-kare, KBL (kadyos, baboy, langka), just to name a few — but some of their unpopular dishes as well.
“For our Filipino food in Conrad, we made sure that everything is authentic, we present it well. The cooking techniques are well done and we are offering items that cannot be tried in other places like our ethnic cuisines,” said Executive Sous Chef Patricia Mesina.
“We are featuring snippets of Filipino food from different regions. Although it’s an international buffet we are focusing more on the Filipino dishes that we do not usually come across. Like the piyanggang chicken from Mindanao or the Maranao Beef Rendang. The dishes’ fresh ingredients are also sustainably sourced from local suppliers,” she added.
“Flavors of the Philippines” is available every day for the entire month of June. The buffet is available at 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m for lunch and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for dinner.
