California coastal fire completely contained, firefighters say

Firefighters completely contained the coastal fire in Laguna Niguel, Calif. On Tuesday, May 17, firefighters said. Footage released by the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) on Tuesday morning shows scenes from the fire since the beginning of May 11. The fire resulted in mandatory evacuations and destroyed homes. “While the houses have been destroyed, there have been countless of them that have been saved from the tireless and coordinated work of the fire brigade,” OCFA said on Twitter. Two firefighters who sustained minor injuries during the fire were “recovering and doing well,” they added. Credit: Orange County Fire Authority via Storyful
