Cameron Williams was replaced on Channel 9 by Roz Kelly and James Bracey
Channel 9 has announced who will replace Cameron Williams following the popular presenter’s shocking decision to leave.
Channel 9 has announced that James Bracey and Roz Kelly will take up positions as sports hosts for the network’s major news outlets.
The move comes after the popular presenter Cameron Williams made the sudden decision to leave from Nine after 12 years with the free-to-air broadcaster.
Nine also had to contend with Erin Molan’s decision last year to leave and take a stand on Sky News.
Nove announced Saturday morning that Bracey will step into Williams ‘shoes as the weekly sports presenter at 6pm on a permanent basis after holding the role since Williams’ departure in March.

Kelly will feature the sport during Friday and Saturday bulletins.
Williams, 59, had disappeared from 9News in the weeks before his resignation in March.
He said he would be leaving at the time to focus on his health.
Claimed follow-up reports a “heated and angry” exchange with a Nine News executive may have triggered Williams’ decision.
In an email sent before his big news fell, Williams told Channel 9 colleagues “with a heavy heart” that he had decided to quit the network.
“Leaving the best team in the News is difficult and joining that team in honor,” he said.
“But I have struggled for years with increasingly precarious health and I want to face it now for the sake of a more important team, my family.”
Now Nine is moving forward.
Bracey will leave his position as host of Sport Sunday, but will continue his work with the network’s NRL and Australian Open operations.
Kelly, meanwhile, will take on the role of Sport Sunday presenter as she continues in her rugby and tennis roles.
Bracey said in Nine’s announcement: “Sport and Nine go hand in hand, so I’m over the moon to join the 9News team.
“I grew up admiring Ken Sutcliffe and his airing relationship with Brian Henderson and Peter Overton. It’s surreal now to be in the same chair next to Pete. “
