His excuse of him for not disclosing Trump’s dangerous impulses earlier is that he wanted to avoid being fired so that he could protect the country. Esper has supported Trump’s racist and elitist policies, so his disparaging remarks about him now appear to be about selling books. They were lucky to be able to persuade him not to shoot peaceful protesters and Mexican asylum seekers. John Bolton served as a political appointee in both the Ronald Reagan and George HW Bush administrations. His serving accountancy in the Trump administration for 17 months as a National Security Advisor reveals his view of Trump as incompetent. Bolton was among the initial appointees who were experienced and qualified to serve at a high level of government. He was also among the first wave of officials who resigned or were fired because they challenged Trump or made him look bad.

Some of the claims Bolton made in his book about how Trump behaved as president were:

General McMaster was one of many generals and admirals whose description of Trump’s conduct as president was incompetent, pro-Putin, impulsive, violent, and more concerned about his popularity than what was best for America. McMaster and other military leaders were alarmed by Trump’s lack of knowledge of how the military operates, his limited understanding of the Constitution, and his adoration of contradictory dictators. His use of the historically racist slogan “Make America Great Again” is the absolute “big lie”. Are Trump voters so lazy, ignorant, or star-struck that they believe everything they are told without finding out if it’s true? Can’t conservative voters find a psychologically normal candidate who is competent, compassionate, qualified, NON-RACIST, honest, transparent, and respects the rule of law? His loyalists are infantilized and humiliated in their admiration for American national embarrassment.

THE ONLY COMPETENCE THAT LEADED TO THE OFFICE WAS ITS ABILITY TO PRODUCE FALSE MESSAGES THAT CATCH VOTES. USE THE TERM “RINO” TO LABEL ANYONE WHO DOESN’T BLINDLY SUPPORT SOMETHING THEY SAY, WANT OR DO. THE REPUBLICS WHO REJECT TRUMP ARE PATRIOTS WITH PROVEN RECORDS OF COLD CONSERVATISM. TRUMP IS A FALSE. IN THE PAST HE WAS PRO CHOICE, PRO-CLINTON, VOTED DEMOCRATIC AND NON-RELIGIOUS LAY.
