Metrobank clients urged to use new app

METROPOLITAN Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank) on Friday advised its clients to switch to the bank’s new app by November 21 to ensure uninterrupted access to mobile banking services.

The bank said the new app includes features that anticipate needs, simplify transactions and enhance security to ensure the safety of their money.

Clients will soon benefit from features allowing them to send funds to loved ones without bank or e-wallet accounts for pickup at major remittance centers nationwide through the Cash Pick-up service, Metrobank said.

More secure transactions will be available with the new AppKey feature in addition to other enhancements.

Metrobank’s share price fell by 10 centavos to P52.10 on Friday.
