Mollie Hemingway’s reality check for Kirsten Powers on abortion and religion obviously didn’t go well – twitchy.com
The left (along with some Principle Conservatives ) I have been apoplectic since a draft decision leaked to the media showing there is a good chance Roe v. Wade could be reversed.
CNN analyst and USA Today reporter Kirsten Powers joined the party with this tweet on abortion and religion issues:
If you think abortion is wrong, don’t abort. It is not okay to impose your religious view on others. Why should a Jew or a Muslim, for example, live according to your interpretation of the Bible? If you don’t understand this, please never use the term “religious freedom” again.

Mollie Hemingway of the Federalists provided a reality check:
This is as silly as saying, “If you think slavery is wrong, don’t take a slave. It’s not okay to impose your religious views against slavery on others.” You know that abortion ends a human life. The lack of logical thinking on display here is well below you.

It seems Powers wasn’t a huge fan of Hemingway’s answer, because guess what happened next:
It’s a free country and all, but if you can’t handle this gentle pushback to poor argument, I’m worried about you. Seriously, something seems to be wrong. I hope you’re fine. pic.twitter.com/DrX6yT6aif

We cannot say that we are shocked.
He can’t handle disagreement, especially when he’s not winning an argument. Pretty sad, really. pic.twitter.com/fcfKOCri5T

He subtitled you after the block. “Slavery and abortion are not morally equivalent and the fact that you and so many evangelicals think they are is another problem,” she said.

This is often the way the happy block crowd operates.
