The Hisense A9 smartphone is the brand’s latest model that lacks an OLED or LCD display in favor of a much more efficient alternative: E-Ink technology. The smartphone features a 6.1-inch E-Ink display with 300 pixels per inch, which allows for a paper-like viewing experience that can be easily viewed in direct sunlight. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor and has 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage.
The Hisense A9 smartphone is now available for pre-order ahead of China launch for CNY 1,799 and supports 4G LTE and dual-band WiFi. The device measures 183 grams with a dual-camera system, side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a 4,000mAh battery.
