One of the things that will be missing from the briefings is that Fox made Doocy ask a bizarre right-wing question and Psaki crossed it out.
Peter Doocy will still be there to ask the crazy questions, but it will be up to Karine Jean-Pierre to do what made Psaki so effective.
Jen Psaki has the ability to take Peter Doocy’s questions and turn them around so Fox News doesn’t get the desired talking point they could use in segments for hours on end.
The Psaki / Doocy interactions made briefings fun after Trump nearly extinguished them, and on the off chance that a briefing was held, it was often dark, controversial, ugly, and factless.
In about a week, it will touch Karine Jean Pierre to make sure Doocy and Fox can’t use the briefing as a platform for disinformation.
