Call of Duty’s “Ghost Your Boss” campaign has turned a gamer’s dream into reality, offering Swedish fans the chance to skip work and immerse themselves in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III on its launch day.

In Sweden, workers can take a “karensdag” or sick leave day without jeopardizing their employment, but it usually means a day without pay. This innovative campaign is taking advantage of this policy by encouraging game enthusiasts to call in “sick” to work so they can play. If that wasn’t already enough, the brand is addresses the money issue by providing gamers with the chance to receive a grant of up to 1400 SEK (about $125).
